Brian Glenn
HOMETOWN: Cadillac, Michigan
SONG: "Heartaches by the Number"
Brian Glenn was born with a “Country Heart” way up north in Cadillac, Michigan. He has been performing since the age of eleven.
Brian’s singing and bass guitar playing led him to session work with legendary Grand Ole Opry stars like Jack Greene (There Goes My Everything), Billy Walker (Charlie’s Shoes), and Stonewall Jackson (Waterloo). He filled in for tenor singer Dennis McCall with the Opry’s long time harmony quartet, the Carol Lee Singers. Between the Opry House and the historic Ryman Auditorium, Brian has taken the Opry stage to perform hundreds of times, and has appeared on the nationally televised portion of the Opry about 20 times.
From 2002-2008 Brian was been a member of Country legend Marty Stuart’s band--The Fabulous Superlatives. Brian was featured with Marty on tour as well as on recordings for Marty’s Columbia Records album, Country Music. They have also made several national television appearances including Most Wanted Live (CMT), the Johnny Cash Tribute Show (CMT), The Bill Gaither Bluegrass Homecoming (PBS), The Travel Channel, and numerous spots on the Grand Ole Opry (GAC). Currently Brian is playing bass in house band for NBC’s “Nashville Star” airing Summer 08.
As you can see Brian Glenn is no stranger to this business. He takes the stage with a fresh-faced ambition, combined with the easy-going confidence and delivery of a seasoned professional. From a young age, the finest singers and musicians have surrounded him.
Jessica Allen Wright
HOMETOWN: Plano, Texas
SONG: "Little Slice of Heaven"
Jessica is the youngest of three children. She grew up listening to music of every kind, from oldies and '90s pop to country and showtunes.
When she was 18, Jessica joined the Navy, but had to return home one year later when she was hurt on board her submarine in the Persian Gulf. Lucky for her, her highschool sweetheart and girlfriend of 3 years was still back in Texas waiting for Jessica to return home.
Jessica sings at local bars and venues on the weekend, but works a full-time job at her dad's car dealership. Jessica dreams of becoming the next American Country Star, just like her inspiration, Carrie Underwood.
